Marketing Director

Homecare California is a licensed and accredited home care agency which places caregivers with clients living in Santa Clara, San Mateo, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties. Headquartered in Los Altos, Homecare California is family-owned and operated. Since 2008, we have experienced significant growth and are looking for a Marketing Director to help us continue our ascent. 


Job Summary:  

As the Marketing Director you will own the definition and communication of the Homecare California brand to the community. You will be a member of the senior leadership team and manage a broad array of marketing intiatives to help us deliver a consistent marketing message to potential clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a marketing/ad campaign and budget to connect us with qualified leads who become our clients

  • Work with the senior leadership team to identify and highlight key sales differentiators and ways to communicate them to our target client base

  • Manage a variety of marketing strategies, with a special focus on social media, while proactively seeking out new opportunities

  • Proactively write marketing and educational content for distribution through multiple channels, including pitching to the media

  • Plan speaking engagements and special events to reach new audiences

  • Manage creation of compelling videos which tell our story to potential clients

  • Measure the results of marketing campaigns to help improve our marketing effectiveness

  • Drive brand and message consistency throughout our marketing literature, website, training materials, and company messaging

  • Measure client and employee satisfaction, manage online reviews, track sales data, analyze competitive trends and recommend strategic changes


Knowledge and Skills:

  • 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare but not required

  • Strategic thinker with tactical implementation capabilities

  • High level of creativity, ingenuity, and judgement

  • Excellent writing skills

  • An eye for design, although we’ll contract with a professional designer when needed

  • Ability to multiplex active campaigns, track results, and plan future campaigns

  • Knows how to create campaign schedules and budgets, plus be held accountable

  • Understands web technologies including email campaigns, customer satisfaction, customer relationship management, etc.

  • Appreciation of the senior marketplace and ability to quickly come up to speed on all things senior care


Starting salary will be based on experience. Benefits include medical coverage and paid time off plus holidays.
